Most of the street ones are already in the City's Bike Walk Colorado Avenue Program . Backing something already adopted is the shortest path.

Where it goes

  5. The Commission may refer it to the CRB, CRA, or Martin MPO. Sidewalk and bike items may also go to a public BPAC meeting.

Beyond the meeting

Filings are carried, as submitted, to the people who decide — at Commission meetings and outside them: the CRB, the CRA, the Martin MPO, the BPAC, and in conversation with Commissioners and City staff. This site is how business owners reach them.

Who runs this

Mike Mann, co-owner of The Roasted Record, 600 Colorado Ave, in the Creek District. He serves on the Martin County Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee, where he represents downtown Stuart's business owners.

Set up at the request of Stuart City Commissioners. No City money. No members, meetings, or votes.

Everything filed goes to the City Commission for consideration. The site itself will be documented and submitted to the Commission for review.
